Improving English through reading takes time, but it is best way to build strong foundation of being a perfect Englishman. Reading is a little bit messier for beginners who haven’t read English news paper till date. Don’t worry. As a beginner, I will suggest you to follow the ranking of newspaper (which are easily available through India) based on your English proficiency. As you move down the list of news papers mentioned below, difficulty level of English will increase. So when you will be comfortable with level 1 then move to level 2 news paper and so on....
Along with reading, you must always make a list of new words you came across and maintain a daily diary of these words. You must revise this new vocabulary whenever you get time. I will say read it at least twice a day. Let’s move to the list.

            1. Lokmat Times
Lokamat Times is best news paper for beginners. Its English is very easy and can be easily understood by you as a beginner. It will provide you with very little vocabulary, but as a beginner it’s okay. Everyone as a beginner must start with Lokmat Times. I assure you that, if you start reading another English paper you will only look into engaging pictures and paper will lie next to your sofa.

            2. Times of India
Times of India is next level news paper with quite good editorials, which will enrich you with latest issue and events. English level of Times of India is quiet higher than Lokmat times.

3. Indian Express
As per my view, Indian Express is best of all news paper in terms of its editorial pages and information content. If you are preparing for CAT, GRE or Group discussions you must read these editorials. Level of English is very good and formal. Best news paper of India.

4. The Hindu
The Hindu is best of all newspapers in English vocabulary. English is very eloquent and every news is precisely explained.

5. Economics Times
Economics Times is newspaper mainly focused on economy and business oriented stuffs. If you are lover of financial Information you can continue with this newspaper instead of The Hindu.

6. Mint
Mint is newspaper mainly focused on economy and business oriented stuffs. You can read it as a option for Economics Times.
